Labyrinth Stone: St. Omer Labyrinth from Oli Stefani in the Schlosspark at Karlsruhe-Durlach (Germany)

In the castle grounds Durlach directly beside the Lapidarium stands the red sandstone with the St. Omer labyrinth. At any time accessible and always open to the public.
The stone is 2 m high and measures 28 cm at square. The surface with the labyrinth is 106 cm high and 4 x 28 cm wide (112 cm).

Oli Stefani has maintained the floor plan of the St. Omer labyrinth, but has changed the plan that the lines fit “appropriate for edge” on the stone. This has required some considerations how he says. At the back side of the stone one will see three crosses which are not perceived in the original plan. The entrance to the labyrinth is below.
If one wants to trace the long way into the middle, one must move around the stone and walk quite 26 m with the finger.
