A new Centre for the Schwanberglabyrinth (Germany)

On Sunday 26th of June, 2011 was once again the day of the Schwanberg, connected with a castle park party.

There were many and different program points and one of it was the ceremonious exposure of the new centre of the Schwanberg labyrinth with the title “sky roots” – the roots of mankind. A tree planted headlong in the ground should remind us of the fact that the human being is limited, mundane, and at the same time an unlimited, cosmic being. Prof. Dr. Dr. Paul Imhof explained the meaning. The new centre of the labyrinth is a 20 – 30 million year old fossilisation of a tree from the Libyan desert.
