Origin and Meaning of the Term LABYRINTHOS

The term LABYRINTHOS is the paradigmatic expression per se of the engram imprinted in the human brain and  its mode of thinking. It consists of the series of the 10 diverse primal phonemes  L◦A◦B◦Y◦R◦I◦N◦TH◦O◦S.  A correlation to numerals is therefore inherent. He who pronounces, writes and /or reads LABYRINTHOS, organizes /sorts and counts. And the organizing / sorting and the counting do count, even when they occur unconsciously! Out of the 10 primal phonemes the other phonemes of the human sound treasure can be developed through differentiating sound play. All together they constitute the sound or the respective imprints of man’s word and language creation.

LABYRINTHOS, originated from the seed pattern (cross, angles, dots), the first and oldest labyrinth type

 L < J ◦ A < Å, Ã, Ă, Ä/Æ, E ◦ B < P, PH/F, V, W ◦ Y/Ü < I ◦ R < L ◦ I < Ü/Y, Î ◦ N < NJ, M ◦ TH < T, TJ/TY, D, DJ, DH, TS, TZ, S, Z ◦ O < Œ/Ö, U ◦ S/ß < Š, Z, Ž, C, TS, TŠ/TSCH, CH, H, K/Q, G, GJ/GY.

The name LABYRINTHOS simultaneously contains the sequence of the ancient word kernels: LA ◦ LAB ◦ AB ◦ ABY ◦ BY ◦ BYR ◦ YR ◦YRI ◦ RI ◦ RINTH ◦ IN ◦ INTH ◦ THO ◦ THOS ◦ OS. Their characteristic basic quality is thus one of v a r i a b i l i t y. Through creative sound and permutation play the semantic differentiation of the original meaning of a respective ancient word kernel – which represents an initial form – is achieved. As spoken language archetypes they are constituents of the archaic KU(N)-MAG-GAR/ŠU-ME-ER/Šumerian (1) agglutinative language treasure as well as of the also agglutinative current Hungar/Magyar/Hungarian language (2). Their presence in the respective competent, vocabularies confirms this. Of Mesopotamian – Chaldean origin, it was formulated by MAG/MAH scholars in the prime time of the state towns of KI.EN.GI and KAL.DA; most probably in the temple town of LAGASH, the realm of the EN.SI GUDEA. The ancient name of the town SIR.LA.BUR.KI / SIR.BUR.LA.KI light, abundance, stone recipient, earthcollecting area of light abundance, – which demonstrates a coincidence with the 1st half  of the name LABYRINTHOS -, sustains this supposition. In the LABYRINTHOS primal word kernel sequence were the essential marks of life network in equivalents of language/speech kernels expressed by the MAG/MAH scholars. As the formula of life network on Earth, LABYRINTHOS constitutes the result of analogue thinking, i. e. a holistic mind set thinking in analogies and equivalences. To be able to grasp this in all its dimensions of meaningfulness it is necessary to realize a shift from the current, mostly logical mind set to the analogue mind set. The significations corresponding to the sequence of the primal word kernels – here kept short – are:

A more precise, detailed communication of the constellations of meanings created through the sound and permutation play would exceed the framework given here. As a sustaining  backbone of  words omnipresent also in the vocabularies of the current Indo-European languages (and also beyond), partially self supporting, but mostly integrated in two or more syllable words, these primal word kernels form the sound potential of word in the thought basis of the choreographic, figurative mythic materialized expression of the LABYRINTHOS complex of thought content and therefore an invaluable treasure of  human speech communication.
