My name is Erwin Reißmann, I am coming from Würzburg in Germany.
The labyrinth is my great passion. I am searching for labyrinthine paths, wherever I can find them.
Since the year 2002 my website titled Mystery Labyrinth is running … and now this blog.

The Ursuline Sisters in Canfield, Oh just constructed a Labyrinth and we are trying to understand and research ther sites.
Thanks
Can you help me please?
I am an English historical researcher interested in ancient dance and wonder if you have any record of the following: -
Every third year a Crane Dance (or similar bird dance) was carried out at the ancient labyrinth at Słupsk, northern Poland during the middle ages.
It was similar to the dance that Theseus performed with the young men and maidens he saved after killing the Minotaur at Knossos, Crete.
The dance was part of festival put on by the Shoemakers Guild of Słupsk.
If you are unable to help is there any possibility of guiding me to where I may find such historical Polish dance information.
I have tried contacting the museum and civic authorities at Słupsk but have received no reply.
I am happy for the information to be in Polish.
There is very limited information in English.

Your help would be very much appreciated.
Obtaining this information is most important to my research.
With kind regards

Hello,
what I know about this dance is quite the same as you describe it. I only found the notes in books. But nothing more or more exactly.
The only one I know who could maybe help you, is Jeff Saward. Please try to get some more information from him. You will find the link to his website in the blogroll on the sidebar of this blog.
Sorry that I can not help you better.
Erwin
Hi Erwin, Thank you for visiting my blog and my posting about my Labyrinth experience. The first time I heard about the Labyrinth and saw it, my heart just leapt and I felt so excited in a way I can’t explain. Thank you for the beautiful pictures on your blog. I look forward to visiting other Labyrinths in the world.
As a Coach and Facilitator, I’m finding it to be a great potential for use with my clients. But for now, I’m just thrilled to discover what it can do for me.
Peace & Joy, Anita.
